Camstrap Magclip - Magnetic Clip for Lens Cap

I bought the Explorer strap and this Magclip accessory came with it. I thought that I wouldn't use it but after fitting one of the small plates to my lens cap and trying it I am very impressed. My Nikon lens caps can only use the small plates, as shown in the photgraph, but the downside is that only two come with the set. I can find the 30mm round discs easily, but not the required rectangular plates and I need another 8 of these. Hopefully these will be available soon from Camstrap.

Perfect solution! For years I used the elastic strap with sticky adhesive to the lens cap. Which have gotten worse quality wise over the years. I highly recommend this product to all photographers!

Great way of keeping your lens cap secure and always at hand when needed. The magnets are really strong and the adhesive is also very strong. These magnets can be easily adapted to almost any lens cap. I found the rectangular magnets easier to work with and the round ones can be cut to size with good scissors (thin aluminium).

It fulfills the number one expectation, keeping the camera tight to my body if I bow, climb a cliff and if I lay donw to knees or tummy photographing while I stand up again (I am over 70 and not quite as agile as younger).

Heb de camstrap nu al meerdere keren gebruikt! Echt heel handig. Geen zware camera aan je nek. Het enige is er in en er uit komen. Dat vraagt even wat geduld en inzicht

Fantastic! Useful! Well made! I only wish there was a way to buy additional adhesive metal discs. They are thin and work very well. Finding alternatives is tiresome as they often don’t work as well.. that’s the only negative on this otherwise excellent product.
