Camstrap Voyager

I purchased this strap for my husband as part of his retirement present. He absolutely loves it and can now be completely hands free and no more stress on his neck. Highly recommend to anyone who owns a camera.

J’ai souvent l’occasion d’utiliser votre produit et je le trouve vraiment très pratique.
Je l’utilise très régulièrement en voyage ou lors de nos navigations sur notre bateau. Mon appareil photo reste posé à côté de moi dans la cabine et, lorsqu’un animal marin apparaît, ou un beau paysage, je peux le saisir rapidement grâce à votre sangle et le fixer à mon buste. Cela me laisse les mains libres pour me tenir au bateau, sans crainte de faire tomber l’appareil ou moi-même. C’est très sécurisant.

Le seul petit inconvénient que j’y trouve concerne son utilisation lors des déplacements à bord. La sangle étant conçue pour un portage bustier mains libres, sa longueur est parfaitement adaptée à cet usage, mais elle est moins pratique pour transporter l’appareil photo d’une pièce à l’autre. On finit alors par porter l’appareil à la main, avec le risque de le faire tomber.
Peut-être pourriez-vous envisager, en complément, une petite sangle de poignet qui viendrait parfaitement compléter cette sangle bustier mains libres ?

Wore the cam-strap at a meet for 8 plus hrs.
The Camera,lens and battery pack weighed 2.5 kilo's. Walked over 3.5 miles around Donington Park ,it's not flat. The camera was easy to reach ,the strap didn't get in the way and didn't swing about or fall off my shoulder like older strap's. Wore a t-shirt that day and found the neck pad did sit on the neck. Bit uncomfortable will try it with a polo shirt at the next meeting. Maybe pad could be bigger.

It is really well made and the quick clips are thick and better quality than I expected. Once you get it all adjusted for you it is quick and easy. My other straps are great but creat overhang when leaning over and have way too much movement, swing. Hiking is a passion of mine so this co figuration allows me to use my hands freely and have quick access to my camera. My camera has now become much easier to use and made hiking especially, so much more comfortable.
I am sure their are many more situations this will make for a smoother transition.
No clipping on and off, just reach down swing up and put down when done. Its like its not there. Strap itself is great quality and super strong material.

Very happy| I carried my camera perhaps 12 or 13km on a walking tour of central Palermo and was hardly aware of its weight! And all the way up and around the roof of Cefalu cathedral.

I am a healthy 77 year old (OK, the walk was a week before my birthday, but ...).

I also love the magnetic lens cap add-on. For the first time in several holidays I came home with all my lens caps!

The Camstrap works exactly as described on the website. It is an excellent solution for any camera with a fixed lens, but less suitable for larger zoom lenses. A 70-200mm lens (for example) is better worn on the side with the hood pointing down. I ordered two Camstraps, one in blue color and one in white/silver. The blue Camstrap had two buckels, the other only one, as you can see in the photo. This means that there is a long "tail" when I tighten the silver Campstrap, which is a bit inconvenient, so I hope they can send me the missing part.

We are happy we bought the camstrap. Everything the add says is true. It’s a great product. We are teavellibg right noe and the camstrap make thing a lot easier.

I got this for my husband since we are going to Italy and taking our good camera. I feel safer taking our good camera to Italy, or anywhere for that matter, with this strap. I was a little worried about the size since he is big. Fits just fine and works like a charm. It was easy to install and use. I have added pictures of him so you can see what I am talking about.

So easy to install, simple to adjust to body to make for a very comfortable use.

The straps can be adjusted for varying size people and the adjustment can be done easily. The strap holds my DSLR camera in a handy position to be able to quickly take. I will have to experiment with the removable neck pad to put it on tight enough, so it stays put. Having the camera so handy for taking a quick picture enabled me to snap a picture of this duck gliding across a small lake.

Apres quelques jours d'utilisation, le constat est très positif.
Mains libres pour se déplacer, et moins de douleurs dans le cou.
la sangle étant un peu longue je l'ai raccourci et fait deux passants pour la tenir.
Impec.

Ik gebruik hem voor mijn Canon G7 ||| en maak nu andere en betere foto’s omdat ik makkelijker en onopgemerkter andere perspectieven kan kiezen als ik het leven op straat en spelende kinderen fotografeer.

Camstrap fits me perfectly, I have already adapted it to my body measurements and now that I go out every day with my camera to photograph birds and nature, I hardly notice the weight of the camera, I recommend it.

De Camstrap oogt een eenvoudige camera riem, en is het dan ook. Ik heb het filmpje nog eens bekeken, hoe de acteur de Camstrap omdoet. Nadat ik op dezelfde manier de riem heb omgedaan, blijkt, dat zeker als je nog wat onervaren bent, je het beste, eerst je camera kan bevestigen, en daarna de riem op de in de video's getoonde manier kunt omdoen. Na een paar dagen onderweg te zijn gaat het vanzelf, ook als de camera nog niet bevestigd is. Lopen met de Camstrap, zeker als er ook nog wat geklommen en geklauterd moet worden, gaat 100% beter met de Camstrap, als met een standaard camera riem. Fotograferen gaat zoals op de video's getoond uitstekend. Voor laagstandpunt foto's moet je de Camstrap even van de nek halen, dan gaat dat ook wel. Ik kan niet anders, dan de Camstrap een uitstekende beoordeling geven, nu dat ik hem een week intensief op wandelvakantie heb gebruikt. Een bijkomend voordeel is dat bij gebruik van de Camstrap, je ook nog gewoon een rugtas kunt dragen. De Camstrap zit dat niet in de weg.

Had my first outing with my Canon RP + efs adaptor + 2x converter + canon 300mm EF 1:4 L IS hand held for an afternoon stroll in the Norfolk countryside.
With camera bag on and the camera on the CamStrap I spent an hour walking and taking photos. I can confirm that the rig actually did feel lighter as the weight was distributed evenly, and I believe that I could have worn it all day without discomfort.

When I purchased the Camstrap, i new I wanted to make adjustments to fit the peak design connectors that I use on my cameras already. I also did not want metal clips up against my camera. As I was making these adjustments, Camstrap has come out with a similar adjustment, except the connectors they used are not compatible with Peak Designs. All is well.

I use this mainly when on bicycle tours. Perfect for spontaneous shots before your subject escapes. Normally I would have to get off the bike and then reach into the camera bag on the rear rack to access my camera, an awkward procedue that made me miss many shots. Now the camera is at my finger tips, so to speak.

As mentioned by others, it's also great for walking since your hands are free. I like that the camera sits securely on your body, even when you move about.

I'm looking forward to the new attachment system, which I have just ordered. My only complaint was that detaching the camera, which I have to do for low POV shots, was too "fiddly".

Works as promised. Took a few minutes to get set up but then smooth sailing! Tested it out on a very choppy whale watching cruise and performed admirably!
