Camstrap SafeGrip

I received my order in under a week after pre-ordering through the crowdfunding campaign, and I’m thrilled to support such a fantastic initiative!

Just received it and it's great, it feel so natural, I don't feel the weight of my Canon DSLR

I recently purchased the Cam Strap and I love it, easy to put on and remove, my camera is secure and easily glides when taking photos. Very comfortable and takes the camera weight off my neck. 5 stars.

I’m so glad I jumped in early and pre-ordered this backpack during the crowdfunding campaign. It arrived this week and I immediately took it on a day-long hike to break it in. The hands-free system—clipping my camera to the front straps—was a total game-changer: no neck strain, no swinging gear, just quick access whenever I spotted a shot.

The pack itself feels rock-solid: breathable back panel, smooth zips, and just enough internal dividers to keep lenses, snacks, and a light jacket organised without over-complicating things. After eight miles the shoulder straps were still comfortable and I barely noticed the weight.

If you’re on the fence, trust the hype: this bag was worth backing early and is already my go-to for everything from photo hikes to everyday commuting.

Does what it says in the tin! I’ve taken more photos since I got the strap than I had in the last 6 months because it is so much easier to carry 😊

Now been able to give this product a reasonable workout. Bought it so I could be hands-free when out walking and in most situations this is true, the exceptions being steep inclines upwards and when the trail is somewhat overgrown. But as my other strap would need to be held in those circumstance and others ...
Slightly awkward to use the camera in portrait mode - especially when taking a panorama sequence. It's also quite substantial which means getting it into the camera bag can be a bit of an issue.
Being positive it does redistribute the weight of my camera (Nikon 6III with 28-400 lens) and on a recent long walk (15km) I didn't get any back stiffness.
The camera fitting makes it easy to swap over the strap when I need to.

So easy to use. Materials are grade A and craftsmanship is great. Makes lugging my Canon with telephoto lens easy and convenient.

I have a heavy camera and large lenses Canon + EF200 - 400 + EF28 - 300. This camera strap really reduces the carrying load on you neck and leaves you completely hands free when walking which is great on rough terrain.

This is actually pretty much perfect.

I've used this with my Nikon D7500 and some big lenses. The heaviest is an old version of the superb 70-200 F2.8 zoom, and it greatly reduces the load compared to the 'standard' over one shoulder straps I've used. I have walked around for a day with this combo (D7500, 70-200) on walking tracks and it didn't faze me.

While it is clearly obvious, when you're a bit tired you do need to remember the camstrap goes on before the backpack :)

For carrying a heavy camera with a long lens for a long time, the Camstrap is great: there's a real feeling that the weight is being distributed away from the neck. Dead easy to set up, and a good addition to my kit. My only gripe is that the rubber neck pad falls off and isn't really very well padded - so I've junked that and replaced it with something more padded.

Works very well. Stops the wobble that hurts your neck.
